How the Ecosafe system works
Primary separation
Wastewater enters the first chamber. Solids settle. Only liquid moves forward.
Natural sand filtration
The water travels through a carefully graded sand bed. A biological process that naturally reduces nutrients and leaves the water clear and odourless.
Final pumpwell irrigation
The treated water collects in a sealed pumpwell and irrigates automatically. No blowers. No noise. No sewage odours.

Frequently asked questions
How often does it need servicing?
Only once per year. No quarterly contracts.
Does it smell?
No. The system is fully sealed, so you won’t notice sewage odours around the tank or yard.
What if there’s a power outage?
ECOSAFE’s core treatment process continues without power, as wastewater is treated naturally in the in-ground primary tank and aerobic sand filter. During an outage, treated water collects in the pumpwell and remains clear and odourless until power is restored, or it can be removed manually if needed. For extended outages, the irrigation pump can be run using a generator or solar power if required.
What about hidden costs?
We quote a fully installed price including transport, excavation, craning into position and backfilling. No surprises on install day.
